this post may be late but i really have to do this. some people may not like him and it's their choice. they may not listen to his record, but still they would hear his tracks on the radio.
i have blogged about his first ever single before and that started the "ARCHIE FEVER" in me. i'm not into watching American Idol but at least i try to familiarize myself with the top 12 or something contestants (di ko nga kasi alam kung ilang TOP yung kinukuha nila sa malupitang labanan!).
he's the youngest but he sings really well.his voice quality is very pleasant and he doesn't have to shout to impress his listeners or just to exhibit his vocal prowess (very un-ERIK SANTOS or un-GARY V.)
Archie's debut album was released on November 11, 2008 and i only got the chance to download all the tracks last month.

as what all of us would expect, the album is very pop-ish with a touch of soul and RnB. POP suits his voice. you can nod your head to the beat. it's very good to listen to while doing house chores or while walking on the street.
"My Hands" has a very catchy chorus. when i first heard this song, i di not understand what he's singing. he was like chanting and you can only catch the word "hold on...". i was so intrigued that i immediately searched the lyrics.
another track that caught my attention was "Eyes Don't Lie" because there's this lazy whistle that's jsut so infectious .i must admit i was irritated by that whistle the first time i heard it.
the background vocal of a woman singing in "To Be With You" is still a mystery to me. i've been searching for answers online but i found no results.
my favorite track is the ballad "You Can". maybe because of the lyrics. i was drawn to this song and it makes me feel good everytime i hear it.
teens would surely enjoy this album since they could easily relate to it! i have a "TEEN" mind and so i love it.
Archie co-wrote some of the tracks in this album and that made me admire him more. i always look up to those artist who can compose their own songs.
