It's an album filled with party-themed tracks. Selena Gomez & The Scene's third offering will give you nothing but reasons to have fun. Almost all songs talk about losing it all for the night. If you are looking for some ballads like The Way I Loved You or Ghost Of You, you won't find it in this third album. I am a sucker for those kind of songs and that might be the reason why after listening to this material, I felt half-hearted.


My favorite album would still be A Year Without Rain.  Although When The Sun Goes Down isn't really bad, there are some good sounds that you might want to listen to like We Own The Night featuring Pixie Lott, the catchy Like A Love Song and of course, the first single Who Says.


When The Sun Goes Down speaks for the whole album. Whatever the track is, it speaks for one thing : "The party doesn't start til the sun goes down. That's when everything starts moving. Everybody up when the sun goes down."
