fashion disaster: He's Wearing What I'm Wearing!

Karen, Ruthie and I went to Glorietta 5 this afternoon. It's pay day and we need to check the money . (so soshal eh, sa Glorieta pa talaga magchecheck!) I planned not to spend much except to buy some stuff at Bench so i could reach the 10 K points for my loyalty card. that would entitle me to avail a 200 worth Bench product for free (yeah out of the 10K=200 not fair eh?) I was so busy checking the items on display when I saw the two biyatches laughing their heart out. I asked them why. At first I did not get what Karen whispered to me, but if i could only kill myself at that moment when she pointed her finger to the subject, i would have died! What did I see? I just saw a guy wearing the same shirt that I am wearing - a purple shirt with the print "I'M NOT LOOKING AT YOU, I'M LOOKING AT YOUR FRIEND". I blushed with embarassment because everybody noticed it. We played hide and seek with the guy. I couldn't run away. It's too late. Someone in my head told me not to leave the place. I was the first to be there and besides I'm not yet done shopping. (yeah right! so courageous!) I know that he saw me too and he left the place before me. whew! what a relief!

( that's the cursed shirt)

They were all laughing at what had happened. I just said "i told him not to come here! we're working on the same company just like you guys wearing the same uniform at work, but he did not listen to me!" I paid the items that I bought and we left the place immediately. what a fashion disaster yet another funny and exciting day for me!

WOMANIZER: All American Rejects

we can't deny that britney's womanizer is a big hit! the video is so, well sexy with her showing off her "now" great curves. the video was like a combination of toxic and break the ice.

all amercian rejects,a rock band did their own cover version of the song. Tyson can sing better than Britney. that's a fact but, do you think it's a good version?

FEARLESS: Taylor Swift

i'm not really a fan of country music. i find it boring and and well, just plain boring.. until i saw this blond, blue-eyed,amazonian girl who writes her own songs about teenage love and the life of being a teen.

she's definitely pretty. too bad that joe jonas dumped her over the phone!
well, i'm not going to discuss Taylor Swift's past romance with JoeJo but her 2nd album titled FEARLESS.

the album was released on November 11, 2008 and is made up of 13 original tracks.
just like all country songs, you'll hear the strumming of the guitar on all tracks and you'll get to hear Colbie Caillat (which i am not a fan of) on background vocals for the song "Breathe".
Taylor is fond of using names on her songs. She mentioned the name Abigail on the song "Fifteen"--Abigail is Taylor's bestfriend, and there's also the song "Hey Stephen". It was said that Stephen is a guy whom Taylor had a crush on.

The only overtly country-ish things about Fearless are Swift's light drawl, the occasional reference to a "one-horse town" and a bit of fiddle and banjo tucked into the mix.
This album is good if you would like to relax or put yourself to sleep. not because it'll bore you to death but because her soothing voice would calm you down and would make you forget your stressful day with the lines of her songs that are like telling a story.(Love Story and The Best Day)

i've been listening to this album for a week now and it's quiet therapeutic. If you want, you can download them below.

ALBUM TRACKS:
13. Change

my favorites: White Horse, Breathe,The Best Day and Hey Stephen (her hum in this song is so infectious)

God is the Friend of Silence

We Need to Find God,

He Cannot Be Found in Noise and Restlessness.

God Is the Friend of Silence.

See How Nature . . .
Trees, Flowers, Grass
Grow in Silence.

See the Stars, the Moon and Sun . . .
How They Move in Silence.
The More We Receive in Silent Prayer,
The More We Can Give in Our Active Life.

We Need Silence to Be Able to Touch Souls.

The Essential Thing Is Not What We Say,
But What God Says . . .
To us and Through us.

All Our Words Will Be Useless Unless They Come from Within. Words Which Do Not Give the Light of Christ . . . Increase the Darkness.

-Mother Teresa

------------------------------------------------

when we are busy, we hardly think of God, or doesn't think of Him at all.

it's true that in silence, we can interact with Him better, thru prayer.

that's where we can listen to Him and hear His words effectively.

God's always there. He's just drowned sometimes by the noise around us. but no matter how noisy the surrounding is, if we are calm inside, we can still talk to Him. He's just there, willing to listen.

HATRED vs LOVE

what good will you get out of saying bad things about someone?
would you be happy for the misfortune of other people?
do you think you could win over someone by telling the whole world the negativities the person posess?

it makes me sad that there are these people who would always take a look at your flaws.
people who doesn't have anything good to say. people who would be happy if they see you kneeling and crawling to the floor.

i think we all forget about the meaning of love. we always associate it to a special someone..someone that makes our heart beat fast. a partner..a person we would do anything for..we would die for.

why can't we love everybody?
why can't we easily forgive those who hurt us?
instead of hatred, why shouldn't we replace it with love, forgiveness and mercy?

when somebody wronged us, we always respond negatively (sometimes for no reason we hate someone)
we curse and we fill our hearts with anger. we do things that would put them down.
yet, after all of these, are we completely happy? are we happy that we did something bad against that person too?
let's ask ourselves, "what would i gain by hating this person?"

can we replace hate with love?
it's more reasonable.
it is what God wants us to do all the time.
it may be difficult but we should try.
to make an enemy as a friend gives a satisfying feeling.
it makes us human. it makes us what we really are.

let loose..
let love..

my life would suck without you

after My December, Kelly Clarkson took a long pause for her music career. i was wondering where she'd been until recently, i heard that she had completed her new album.

i have a preview of her new single "my life would suck without you" which will be released to radio on January 19, 2009 (that would be tomorrow). Max Martin, Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly wrote this song. i know you're aware that Max is behind some of *Nsync, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears' smash hits (to name a few).

The 26-year-old original American Idol champ is scheduled to release her fourth studio album on March 17, 2009.

i'm so freakin excited about this new album! she's my favorite american idol and i think no one can beat her. she can sing really well and hit those high notes easily!

welcome back Kelly.

Don't Forget: Demi Lovato

I know I'm pretty old to be listening to this album but i'm sorry i just can't help it. i was so obssessed with Miley Cyrus' "See You Again" before until I heard this girl's "Get Back". I never liked her in "This Is Me". I did not like the way she moved on the music video. She was like a retard (please excuse me).

Good thing she was a little refined on her newest single. I actually love her voice, specially when she sang the Star Spangled banner (watch it in youtube). I believe she can sing better than Miley.
Don't Forget is the title of Demi's debut album through Hollywood Records. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. the tracks from this album are somewhat similar to the Jonas Brother's sound (maybe because they co-produced the album and they co-wote some of the songs as well). if you will listen carefully to the first released single "Get Back" it has the same intro as "S.O.S." She wrote a song for her friend Selena gomez titled "Two Worlds Collide" and a song that tells about expectations of Hollywood and how she will stay the same through the song "La la Land" which was her second album.

the album cover is so artistic (that's based on my opinion). i mean, hey, it's very rare for an artistist to have that kind of cover. the black and red color is just so right. the tracks include:
1. "La La Land (Demi Lovato Song)"
2. "Get Back"
3. "Trainwreck"
4. "Party"
5. "On the Line" (featuring Jonas Brothers)
6. "Don't Forget"
7. "Gonna Get Caught"
8. "Two Worlds Collide"
9. "The Middle"
10. "Until You're Mine"
11. "Believe in Me"

my picks: Until You're Mine, Believe in Me and Don't forget. don't ask me why. just listen to these songs. or better yet, listen to the whole album.

hello 2009! i am now a health conscious person.

it's the start of the year and i'm planning to do something worthwhile. i've been so idle the whole year i think. i was just contented with what i have and i didn't even dare do something that would improve myself as a human being. i just work, sleep, sometimes i skip meals and listen to music. a very boring life indeed.

it's by the end of last year that i decided to gain weight. i've been so skinny all my life. i want to have even just a little muscle.

i'm currently taking this vitamin that was prescribed to me by JB (he's not a doctor though, just a friend). whenever i'm out of vitamins, he'll buy me. he's very supportive. thank you JB.

i can see that it's effective because he gained weight. seriously, he's thin just like me before.

anyway here i am gaining some weight as well since this time, i can't skip meals. but the weight's focused on my tummy! he said that out of the changes that'll happen, it'll be the bulging tummy that's going to be prominent. i no longer use belt on some of my pants, and for my shirts, my armpit hurts sometimes because my small shirt wouldn't fit. i love these changes.

believe it or not, i got so self-conscious when i saw my bulging tummy in the mirror. everyone noticed it and i was kind of embarassed when they tell me that my tummy's big. i was alarmed and so i decided to do some belly dancing and a little hip-hop abs, with a little yoga poses every morning. i started doing this 2nd week of December.i'm doing it til now. i enjoy what i'm doing and i think that's the main reason why i'm motivated in doing it. it's important that we love what we do, to get what we want to achieve.

aside from this, i also watch the food that i eat. i make sure that i eat a lot of protein since my main goal is to build muscles for my tiny body. i started researching yesterday and i wrote down all important details in my handy-dandy notebook.

i am planning to do this all year. i'm documenting everything on my diary and for my plans, i have it written down on my planner. not a bad start for the year of the Ox huh? let's just see what will happen to me by the end of this year.

can somebody please say "Good Luck" to me?

P.S. i did 40 push ups in 4 sets this morning. i never tried doing it for like 8 years since i left high school.

(photos will soon follow hahaha)
